Intersession class for Interior Design students!

Sign up for this class TODAY! It can count as either ARTS 383 (the computer class requirement) or as an upper division elective. We need at least 10 people to have the class go through:

ARTS 398-101 Special Topics -- 3D Model w/ SketchUp Int. Dsgn

Description:
$490 - 3 units: Course fee required - 3D Modeling with SketchUp - In this course students will learn the use of the computer as a modeling and visualization tool using SketchUp software. Emphasis is placed on creating three-dimensional computer models, lending 3D properties to solids and surfaces, and creating axonometric, perspective views, and walk-through animation for ease in design visualization. SketchUp is an easy to use modeling software that allows speedy 3D form creation and visualization. Students will design a conceptual space using the software as an alternative means of evaluating their design. This application of the SketchUp software can be useful for any studies that deal with three dimensional forms and space. Student shall supply their own laptop computer equipped with the SketchUp software. Questions can be directed to the instructor at 898-5491 or kjeon@csuchico.edu.
